Ad agencies all over the world claim that TV and radio are a declining market and have experimented in alternate media platforms. It is true. There has been a steady drop in TV and radio ad markets; however, they are not dead. In fact, they are used simultaneously to the most recent powerhouse the Internet. According to Emarketer, 146.8 million U.S. adults use the Internet. At the same time:
- 102.6 million watch T.V.
- 89.4 million listen to the radio
- 52.3 million read magazines
- 49 million read the newspaper

With 2007 in full swing, here are some statistics to keep in mind while developing this year’s marketing plan.
- 73% of adults in the U.S. use the Internet (Pew Internet & American Life Project, April 2006)

- Spend 11.4 hrs online each week
- Spend 55 minutes each session surfing the Internet
- Visit 70+ domains each month
- 89% of college graduates or higher education go online (Pew Internet & American Life Project, December 2006)
- 75% of online shoppers say they would not return to a website that took longer than 4 seconds to load (Akamai, November 2006)
- 54% of consumers referred a friend to a vendor found online (Nielson/Net Ratings, November 2006)
- Online retailers are acquiring new customers at a rate of 15% annually versus a mere 2% rate of normal brick and mortar stores. (Deloitte & Touche USA, November 2006)

This month, Jarrod Lopiccolo was named a Finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards hosted by The Business Report of Northern Nevada. Jarrod Lopiccolo, business director of Noble Studios was invited to be the first keynote speaker of 2007 for AMA in the AM. The topic of discussion was "Web Architecture and the Online Frontier", and resulted in a record breaking number of attendees.
