- Consumers claiming conditions are "good"; declined by 1.7
percent.
- Those expecting business conditions to improve decreased by 0.8 percent.
- Those expecting business conditions to worsen increased by 3.9 percent.
- Expectations for more job availability in coming months decreased
0.8 percent.
- Expectations for fewer available jobs in the coming months rose 1.9

Sales Tips
With the speed of technology and communication, schedules require tasks
to be done yesterday. So how does a person keep up with the rapid pace
of today, without losing their mind? We asked some of the busiest people
we know in Northern Nevada to give us helpful tidbits on how they keep
sane with the active schedules they maintain:
"Efficiently use small pieces of time. Have three minutes between
meetings? Return two phone calls.";
- John Seelmeyer, Managing Editor for Northern Nevada Business Weekly.
"One word. Blackberry. I check my emails and schedule on-the-go
and make appointments from anywhere.";
- David Archer, Managing Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship
and Technology.
"Get the most out of every appointment. I turn my phone off and
really pay attention. The less time I have to backtrack, the more time
I’ll have later.";
- Andie Wilson, Commercial Sales & Leasing Associate/ Principal
for Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier Brokers.
"Delegate to trust worthy people. This allows me to focus on
the things I am really good at like customer service.";
- Bruce Knowlton, Allegra Print and Imaging and Sales Manager, Membership
Chair for Advertising Association of Northern Nevada (A2N2).
"The Blackberries’
have proven to be functional and cost effective. Other cell/PDAs on
the market (Palm Treo, etc.) are also dynamic and prove to be effective
as well. The staff now carries their "office"; with them
and productivity has improved exponentially.";
- Ron Weisinger, Executive Director for Northern Nevada Development
Authority (NNDA).
Project:
Pacific Rim Inc.
Southern California
and Nevada community developer, Pacific Rim Inc. recently introduced Bronco
Estates and Monroe Mountain Estates to the Las Vegas area. Noble Studios
assisted the well-known developer in creating marketing material that
portrayed the beauty and exclusivity of these two communities. Each of
the neighborhoods were provided model names, colored renderings, billboard
designs, development logo designs, presentation packets, an online brochure
website with a content management system and "request more information";
forms designed by Noble Studios. |
